.......... .................... Driving
Under the Influence
(D.U.I.)
If you have been arrested for drunk driving or driving under the influence,
DUI, you need a lawyer. There are many legal defenses that only a lawyer can
evaluate. An arrest does not mean a conviction. In 2004, Almost 70,000 DUI
violations were issued. However, according to the Florida DMV, there were
only about 45,000 DUI convictions. That means 25,000 people were NOT convicted,
or 35% of all arrests did not lead to conviction for DUI. Hiring an attorney
can make all the difference.
Let me fight for you and try to
set your Florida lifestyle back the way it was before you were arrested for
DUI.
You may have a legal defense and be able to
avoid conviction if any of the following apply. You had very little to drink or refused provide
a breath test. The police failed to advise you of your rights.
You didn't understand the police advise about the law regarding performing
roadside tests and taking a breath test.
You had a cold, condition, illness or injury that may cause difficulties in
performing physical tests or your balance. The police had you perform the sobriety tests
on a surface that wasn't flat, dry, well-lit, and totally free of debris.
The lights of the police car blinded or disoriented you when you performed
the tests.
The police had you attempt the tests on or near the road and passing cars.
The police officer did not properly and clearly give you instructions on how
to perform the tests.
Did the police officer physically demonstrate the test before he asked you
to perform the test?
Did the officer mistake your exhaustion or lack of sleep for impairment? Do you have diabetes, hypoglycemia, or any medical
condition causes you to appear impaired?
Were you involved in a traffic crash? Did you hit your head on the windshield?
Did you perform well on the roadside tests? Do you have witnesses that can
say you were not impaired?
Did the police fail to watch you for 20 minutes before you took your breath
test? Did the officers ask you to remove your removable
dental work and rinse your mouth before giving you the breath test?
Were you driving impaired by something other than alcohol or a controlled
substance?
Were you driving impaired by drugs and didn't make any admissions or provide
a urine sample? Do you wear glasses or contact lenses?
1 of your family members
may be arrested for D.U.I.
(driving
under the influence)
Usually the oldest child
will be the 1st to be arrested for DUI.
Have you recently been arrested in Fort Lauderdale
for Driving under the influence (D.U.I)? Well if you have, you have came to
the right site. It is Mauri Peyton's job to get you out of the trouble you
have fallen into.
There are many ways to defend you as a victim of a
DUI charge. Mauri's specialty has been in resolving situations to avoid you
loosing your license, loosing your job and suffering the damages that can
occur if you don't have the proper attorney handle your case. It is a matter
of confidence in the ability to show the judge that you are entitled to have
your driving privileges and perhaps the law was not followed exactly when
you were pulled over? There needs to be a reasonable cause and a lot of exact
conditions in order for you to be found guilty of DUI. It is my job to find
the correct way to handle your case and defend you with the best skill a criminal
defense attorney can have. You have the right to raise a reasonable doubt
and that is all that is needed to be cleared of a DUI charge. My years as
an intern working with prosecutors has given me the incite to defending the
same cases I was working as a prosecutor to prosecute.
Please call the number on the page that follows or email me and let me handle
your DUI case. Let me tell you the rights you have and the best way to legally
handle this terrible situation you have found yourself in with a DUI charge.
I handle all kinds of criminal law, it is my specialty. I look forward to
representing you and discussing your case and then fighting for you to not
only win your case but to build up my creditability as a winner who gets his
clients the best possible outcome possible.
